White Star Petroleum, LLC, is a growing independent oil and natural gas exploration and production company. Mr. Chambers was appointed Chief Executive Officer of White Star in February 2016, before that serving as Chief Financial Officer of American Energy – Woodford, LLC, American Energy – Nonop, LLC and American Energy – Minerals, LLC. Previously, Mr. Chambers worked for Chesapeake Energy Corporation for seven years in increasing roles of importance, most notably as Vice President and Treasurer. Prior to Chesapeake, Mr. Chambers worked in New York for Colgate-Palmolive Corporation, Prudential Financial, Verizon Communications and Ernst & Young in various finance, treasury and accounting roles. Mr. Chambers earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Oklahoma State University in 1995, a Master of Business Administration from New York University in 2006 and is a certified public accountant.
Mr. Bafia was appointed Chief Operating Officer of White Star Petroleum in May 2018, before that serving as Vice President of Geosciences and in other roles of increasing responsibility with White Star and its predecessor, American Energy-Woodford, LLC. Previously, Mr. Bafia worked for SandRidge Energy, Devon Energy and Marathon Oil Company in various geology focused roles. Mr. Bafia has broad working knowledge of, and exposure to, many onshore U.S. basins, including the Mid-Continent, Permian, East Texas, Gulf Coast, and Rocky Mountain, the offshore Gulf of Mexico and international projects in Australia, Argentina and Mexico. Mr. Bafia earned his Bachelor of Science in Geology degree from Purdue University in 1995 and his Master of Science in Geophysics from Texas A&M University in 1998.
Mr. Morgret joined White Star in June 2016. Mr. Morgret previously worked for Chesapeake Energy Corporation for four years, most recently as Vice President and Treasurer. Prior to Chesapeake, Mr. Morgret worked in investment banking, having served in various roles with J.P. Morgan, Mizuho Corporate Bank and UniCredit Group in London, UK, Frankfurt, Germany and Vienna, Austria. Mr. Morgret earned a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in 2016, a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina in 2000 and is a CFA charterholder.
Mr. Zanotti joined White Star in May 2016. Mr. Zanotti previously worked for Seventy Seven Energy Inc. as Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Secretary. Prior to joining Seventy Seven Energy, Mr. Zanotti worked for Chesapeake Energy Corporation for four years as Assistant General Counsel – Corporate & Securities and other roles of increasing responsibility. Mr. Zanotti began his legal career in the Dallas office of Jones Day. Mr. Zanotti earned a Juris Doctor from Arizona State University in 2006 and a Bachelor of Arts from Southern Methodist University in 2000.
Mr. Pollot joined White Star in June 2016. Mr. Pollot previously worked for Mustang Fuel Corporation for 12 years, most recently as Director of Exploration and Production Accounting. Prior to joining Mustang Fuel, Mr. Pollot worked for Ernst & Young, LLP for 13 years. Mr. Pollot earned a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma in 1991 and is a certified public accountant.
White Star Petroleum, LLC announced that it has sold its interest in a midstream gathering system and associated assets to 4 AM Midstream, LLC, a midstream company founded in 2017 and based in Oklahoma City. The assets are located in Logan, Noble and Payne counties in the Mid-Continent region of Oklahoma and include 253 miles of gas gathering pipelines including 26 miles of high pressure lines and 214 miles of crude oil gathering pipelines.Press Release
